Let Me
inasmuch as it is a good thing to be the masters of our souls, our relationships must be built strong enough so that we can handle each other having the room to be human, to have a bad day, be upset or be hurt. Hiding our feelings and acting strong doesn’t mark us as emotionally mature, all it does is create a secret bank account of repressed feelings. A solid relationship makes space to let these things be, just as is modelled by our relationship with the Father.
Let Me
Let me
Break from the limb
Fall and fall
Let me
Bear the frost
Turn to rust
Let me
Bear the chill
Ice over
For where the leaf falls
I let go the caged
And where frost burns
I let die the wounds
Where the chill seeks me
I hide beneath the surface
Of the stream
So let me
Let me

Yes I agree. Usually if you are given a little space you get yourself figured out.
I loved this, Ryan. Not often talked about, is it? We need the space (and the grace) to screw up, because try as we might, we're still going to.
